Mark,

We now have been in our new house 2 weeks and we wanted to let you know how pleased we are with it. When we first decided to move to Arizona from North Dakota we were going to rent a house. When I called to see if you could help me find a rental house and you told me it would be better to buy at this time was perhaps the best information you could have given me. You put me in touch with the right mortgage company and from that day on you took us through one of the most easy house transactions I have ever been through. When I decided to drive out here two days earlier that I told you I would be here, I want to thank you for dropping what ever you were doing and giving me your full attention for the next 3 days until you found us this great house. The most impressive thing you did for us did not happen during the transaction. It happened after the sale and that was when we had trouble with the air conditioner after we moved in. I called you and within a couple days the problem was fixed and it did not cost us a dime.

Service after the sale is something in real estate that you never see. That is unless Mark Ellingson is your agent. I am sure we will never sell or buy another home without your great service.

I would like to take this opportunity to share my experience in selling and buying a home and subsequently reselling with Mark Ellingson as my Realtor.  It has been a very enjoyable and profitable experience for me.

First I would have to say that Mark is a highly professional and disciplined Realtor.  I received his name as a recommendation from a friend who had bought and sold homes three times previously with Mark and she was very pleased with him.  The quality of his work is apparent from the moment he introduces himself to the completion of the sale and purchase.  I interviewed a number of Realtors before selling my home.  Mark immediately impressed me with his knowledge of the business and his preparation for our meeting which included a list of local sales comparisons for our property.  What was most impressive was the fact that none of the other Realtors had found sales of comparable value to those of Mark.  I admit I was a bit skeptical at first as to whether he could get the house sold at the price he indicated but he did sell it in short order and at a 20% profit for me after living in the house only 18 months!

Mark carefully balanced the sale of our home and the purchase of our new home in Scottsdale to maximize our opportunity and meet deadlines that we incurred due to an early start of the school season.  The Scottsdale market is very difficult with multiple offers on homes typically being made on the initial offering day.  Mark not only helped us with a successful offer on the house but stayed on top of the details right up to closing.  We then were heart-broken when I suddenly got notice of a work transfer out of state, but it was made easier when Mark sold our home in Scottsdale four months after we moved in for a 14% profit!

Clearly we are most grateful to mark for his excellent work and would recommend his services to anyone without the slightest hesitation.  My wife, while very particular about the process of home buying and selling, gave Mark a ringing endorsement saying that he was the best thing that ever happened to us during a very stressful time!  His focus and reassuring ways helped us both considerably!  I have already told him to start looking for a retirement home for our eventual return to Arizona.
